RECENT signing Michael Timlin looks set to be thrown in at the deep end with a Doncaster Rovers debut in Saturday's high noon showdown against derby rivals Rotherham United at Belle Vue.
The on loan Republic of Ireland Under 21 international left winger will come in for Jason Price who had a successful hernia operation earlier in the week.
Timlin, who celebrated his 21st birthday earlier this month, has been a goalscoring regular for Fulham reserves but his first team experience is limited.
Manager Dave Penney said: "He's looked good in training this week and I'm sure he will be up for it on Saturday.
"It's a big game for both clubs but we always seem to thrive on these occasions so I hope it will bring the best out of us again."
