Big match facts from BBCSport
MANCHESTER UNITED and Fulham meet for the 50th time in a League fixture, with United's efforts to avoid missing out on successive Premiership titles for the first time ever looking increasingly forlorn. Even maximum points from the nine remaining matches would not be enough to catch Chelsea, unless the treble chasing Londoners lose four of their remaining matches or drop 12 of the 27 points available to them - and they've only dropped 13 from 29 games all season. The FA Cup remains the only realistic chance of silverware for Sir Alex Ferguson's side this season, although they need to remain above Arsenal to ensure automatic qualification to the group stages of next season's Champions League, and they only lead the Gunners by two points. By kick off time, United will have been overtaken by Arsenal, if Arsene Wenger's side win the lunchtime fixture at Blackburn.
- United are undefeated in 18 Premiership matches, unbeaten at home and challenging for a fourth successive League victory at Old Trafford.
-
Alan Smith gave United the lead in this season's reverse fixture, but Papa Bouba Diop rifled home a late equaliser to give Fulham a deserved draw and put a dent in United's title aspirations.
- Unbeaten in 18 League outings.
- Won 14 and drawn four since losing 2-0 at Portsmouth on 30 October.
- Won 18 Premiership matches. Only Chelsea (23) have won more.
- Lost only twice in the top division (both away to Chelsea and Portsmouth). Only Chelsea, with one defeat, have lost less often.
- Conceded 17 top flight goals. Only Chelsea have shipped fewer - nine.
- Kept 16 clean sheets at the top League level. Only Chelsea have managed more (22).
- Not lost a top flight game this season in which they've opened the scoring. Won 17 and drawn two of the 19.
- Scored 13 goals in the last 15 minutes of Premiership games this term, making them the most dangerous side in the last quarter-hour of top flight matches.
- Picked up more than the current tally of 63 points after 29 matches in a 20-club Premiership season only twice before. In 1999/2000 they had 64 points at this stage, and 67 points the year after - going on to win the title on both occasions.
- Played more League and Cup games than any other top flight club this season (50).
-
One of two clubs with an unbeaten home Premiership record. Chelsea is the other.
- Conceded only seven times in League games at Old Trafford - that's an average of exactly half a goal a game.
- Last lost a home League match on 24 April 2004 (0-1 against Liverpool) - United's only defeat in 20 home top flight outings.
FULHAM go to the Theatre of Dreams aiming to extend their unbeaten run against the Red Devils to four matches. They stand three places and six points above the drop zone, and Chris Coleman will be keen to maintain that cushion, having seen his side win 22 of 66 Premiership matches since his permanent appointment as manager.
- The Cottagers need a reversal in form. They've not scored in three League and Cup games, lost the last three away from home in all competitions, and are hunting a first Premiership victory in five outings over two months, since the 1-2 triumph at Birmingham on 22 January.
-
Steed Malbranque led a stunning smash and grab raid on Old Trafford in this corresponding fixture last season, as Fulham sunk the champions for the first time in 39 years. Malbranque scored one and set up another as Coleman's club simply ran United ragged in a 1-3 triumph. Winless in four Premiership outings.
- Drawn two and lost two League engagements since defeating Birmingham 1-2 at St Andrews on 22 January.
- The eclipse of the Rams is Fulham's only win in seven League and Cup games.
- Lost 14 games in the highest echelon. Crystal Palace, Portsmouth and Norwich have each lost 15.
- Conceded more penalties than any other club in Premiership matches this season (six).
-
Lost the last three League and Cup games away from home, against Liverpool (3-1 PL), Bolton (1-0 FAC) and Tottenham (2-0 PL).
- Drawn one and lost three away from home in all competitions, since the League victory at Birmingham.
- Won only one of the last six Premiership games on the road.
- Managed only one clean sheet in Premiership matches away from Craven Cottage (at Norwich).
