Big match facts from BBCSport
FULHAM face a tough task when Manchester United visit Craven Cottage for the Monday night match. Chris Coleman's side have lost their last three in all competitions in front of the home faithful, but will take heart having stopped the rot of a five-match losing run in League and Cup with last weekend's 0-1 victory at beleaguered Norwich when Andrew Cole was on target. .
- The Cottagers have a 100% record from the four occasions when a clean sheet has been achieved in the Premiership this season, but have not managed a point in the six League matches in which they've failed to score.
-
The Thames-side have twice pulled off dramatic Premiership victories over United at Old Trafford, but are still seeking a first maximum on home turf. The last two corresponding fixtures were 1-1 draws.
- Lost four of the last five in all competitions.
- Gone 14 League and Cup matches since a draw - 10 in the Premiership.
- Drawn fewer matches than any other club in the Premiership (two).
- Suffered the equal highest number of top League losses (nine, as have Crystal Palace).
- Competing with the lowest average gate in the Premiership (20,050).
- Second worst disciplinary record in the Premiership (four red cards, 21 yellow).
- Conceded only one goal in the first 15 minutes of a top division encounter.
- Kept four clean sheets in the Premiership - and won all four games.
- Failed to score in six top division fixtures - and lost all six.
- The current tally of 17 points from the first 16 Premiership games is the club's lowest tally to this stage ever in a Premiership season. In the previous three Fulham have picked up 23, 19 and 25 points after 16 games and 23, 22 and 25 points after 17.
- Lost the last three at Craven Cottage in League and Cup.
- Conceded two goals in each of the last two home matches.
- Lost the last two home Premiership games and three of the last four.
- Yet to draw a home Premiership clash this season.
- Shipped 15 goals in home top tier engagements. Only Newcastle can identify with that.
- Failed to score in four home games in the highest League. No club have missed the target more often in front of their home fans.
- If he participates, Andrew COLE will be facing one of his former clubs.
- If on the field at kick off, Steed MALBRANQUE will be making his 150th start for Fulham.
MANCHESTER UNITED can now concentrate on playing catch-up, having successively secured their place in the draw for the knock-out stages of the Champions League. They were already assured of their place before Sir Alex Ferguson fielded a reserve side that lost 3-0 to Fenerbahce on Wednesday night. That defeat ended a seven-match winning run in all competitions. .
- But the Red Devils head for west London eager to secure a fifth successive maximum in the Premiership, in order to stay on the coat tails of the big two, Chelsea and Arsenal.
-
United took only one Premiership point off Fulham last season, but did later knock them out of the FA Cup. The Red Devils have lost just once in 10 top flight visits to Fulham, and that as long ago as 5 September 1964 when the Cottagers won 2-1. The other nine matches resulted in five wins for the Old Trafford club and four draws.
