Former Fulham striker Steve Marlet has refused to rule out a return to The Premiership in the future.
Marlet, who cost The Cottagers a massive £11.5 million in 2001, is currently plying his trade for Ligue 1 new-boys Lorient.
The 32-year-old lasted just two seasons in England but despite his relative failure, is keen on another crack in The Premiership.
Marlet regrets not making the most of his time with Fulham and would love another chance to prove he can cut it in one of the world's top leagues.
"I only played in England for two seasons, but I love The Premiership," Marlet told Skysports.com.
"I watch a lot of matches, as a couple of friends play there.
"I regret having played there for only two years, because I had signed a five-year contract.
"But I had problems with Fulham, so they told me to leave.
"At that moment, I didn't receive any serious propositions to remain in England, so I joined Marseille.

"But I could come back there, my career is not over."
Marlet has revealed he rejected the chance to join one of the Premiership new-boys over the summer.
However, he is happy with his decision to join Lorient after leaving Wolfsburg following a short stint in Germany.
Marlet now aims to score the goals to keep his new side in France's top league and believes his experience will be vital among a young squad.
"I could have joined a promoted Premiership side," he admitted.
"But everybody was happy to welcome me at Lorient. They have been so welcoming.
"I wanted to come back to France to bounce back.
"The challenge interests me a lot. Of course, I am not used to playing for a club of this standing, but I have talked a lot with the coach, and our dialogue has convinced me.
"This season, I want to play as many matches as I can, I want to score and to make my team-mates score.
"It would be perfect if Lorient could avoid relegation."
Meanwhile, Marlet has spoken of his frustration at Marseille's decision making.
The French international spent two seasons on loan at l'OM but did not make the move permanent.
"At Marseille, they told me to leave after two good seasons," he said.
"Marseille's problem is simple - they change the major part of their squads every two seasons.
"So they can't build solid sides.
"When I left, there were 10 players to be transferred at the same time.
"That explains why a number of players have only played there for short periods."
