Lee Clark insists a win at home to local
rivals Chelsea is more important to the club this season than victory
over Manchester United.
Fulham will make their Premiership debut in front of the Sky cameras at
Old Trafford on August 19, but Clark is already setting his sights on
the big West London derby and a victory over The Blues on September 30.
It will be the first meeting between the two clubs since 1985 and Clark
is fully aware how much the game means to the fans.
Clark said: "It's the derby to end all derbies and the one Fulham
fans have been waiting for.
"It's an excellent game and one I am really looking forward to."
The return fixture is due to be played at Stamford Bridge on March 6 and
Fulham have been quoted at 9-1 to pull off a memorable double.
