Charlton 0 Fulham 6
Fulham Ladies made it four out of four wins after beating Charlton 6-0 on Sunday.
On a difficult pitch Fulham could not match the flowing football from the previous week as Charlton hustled and bustled their way through the game.
With the opposition only playing one up front the mid field area was congested but Katie Chapman and Rachel McArthur created openings early on.
15 year old Laveena Betts opened the scoring on 17 minutes with a guided header from a Rachel Yankey cross. On the half hour Kim Jeray-Silver drove a 30 yard ball into the far corner of the net for the second.
Fulham’s fitness started to show in the second half with the game mainly being played in Charlton’s half. The third goal was scored on 53 minutes after Permi Jhooti’s shot was parried out into the path of Betts.
Betts added another 7 minutes later with a low shot into the corner from the edge of the box. Charlton had a couple of good efforts with Jody Bowry making two excellent saves from long range shots.
Sanchia Duncan made it five after a fine run and cross from Betts in the 65 minute. Deena Rahman scored the final goal with a fine individual goal.
Fulham are now riding high in the league and are looking forward to the visit of Canary Racers from Norwich. The game is on Sunday 17th September at Motspur Park on the main arena. Kick off is at 2:00 p.m.
