Fulham defender Kit Symons will be a Crystal Palace player tomorrow, providing
he passes a medical and agrees personal terms with The Eagles.
Cottagers have revealed that a deal has been agreed and the Wales international
centre-back is expected to

complete his move in the morning, in time to play for Palace in their
home game against his former club Manchester City on Saturday.
Another of Symons's old teams was also in the running to sign the 30-year-old
Basingstoke-born player. Portsmouth were believed to be interested and
the defender himself even made it clear that he favoured a move back to
Fratton Park, saying earlier this week: "Another First Division club
are showing some interest but I would prefer to play for Pompey again
if it came down to a choice."
However, that other club has proved successful and Symons will become
Trevor Francis's first Palace signing, for 300k, since he took over the reins at
Selhurst Park last week.
Fulham's Deputy Managing Director Lee Hoos said "The deal to take
Kit to Crystal Palace is close to being sealed. We should be able to confirm
that the move has gone through early on Friday."
