Fulham and Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Fulham's Welsh international
Kit Symons in a £400,000 deal.
The 30-year-old defender had been struggling to break into the first
team at Craven Cottage this season and has moved to the Nationwide Division
One promotion-hunters in order to secure a regular starting place.
He played in just over 100 League games for the Premiership new boys
following his free transfer move from Manchester City three years ago,
but has only appeared in three games this season.
Symons was an instant success at Craven Cottage, scoring 11 goals during
the club's promotion from Nationwide Division Two in his first season
with the club.
He also played an integral part in last season's promotion to English
football's top flight after an absence of 32 years.
Symons is expected to make his Palace debut in this weekend's vital promotion
clash against former club Manchester City.
Ed - Best of luck in the future Kit and thanks for all the memories
