Fulham player Kevin Betsy has been transfered for 250k to First Division Barnsley,
where he recently completed a loan spell.
Kevin joined Fulham in 1998,
from non-league
Woking for £75,000, under Kevin Keegan and made his debut as a
substitute against Liverpool at Anfield in a Worthington Cup game in 1998.
A tall, fast player Kegan rated him as
one of the best he had seen at his age.
Kevin Betsy said "I am thrilled to have signed a permanent contract
with Barnsley as I enjoyed my loan spell with them immensely. I have fond
memories of my time at Fulham as it is a great Club with fantastic support,
but playing First team football is vital for me to progress as a player
and I am looking forward to being given that opportunity with Barnsley.
"I would like to thank the Manager and all the coaching staff at Fulham
as they have helped my game enormously and I wish them the success that
they thoroughly deserve."
