Fulham midfielder Bjarne Goldbaek believes his side should be promoted
from the First Division for the 'good of football'.
The arrival of Jean Tigana at Craven Cottage has seen the London team
switching to a continental brand of football as they strive to reach the
Premiership.
And after two successive wins, the Danish star feels the team must stick
to their footballing principles and get to the top flight playing an
attractive passing game.
He added: "I think we can go up in one season and people expect us to do
it in one season that's a positive pressure.
"We should play our game home or away. Sometimes you will lose that way
playing football but I think we can get promoted playing this type of
football.
"If we play the game we can play I think we should be so good that we
can get promoted.
I hope that happens for football because I think that's a nicer way to
see and play the game."
Goldbaek was speaking ahead of Fulham's match against Stockport County
on Saturday.
He outlined how Tigana had transformed Fulham's style of play and the
contrast in coaching compared to last season.
"The training is very different to last season and the way he thinks
about football is very different that's the major thing.
"We just try to play quick now keep the ball on the grass and there is a
lot of movement so you get a lot of opportunities for the player to play
good passes and in the end create some goals.
We even play football from the back now."
