Louis
Saha expected back from injury |
|
Fulham expect to welcome back top-scorer Louis
Saha for the trip to Gillingham.
Saha missed the 2-1 defeat at Burnley in midweek with a knee injury, but
boss Jean Tigana is keeping his fingers crossed that the 19-goal striker
will be fit for Saturday's game.
The Cottagers have no fresh injury worries after the defeat at Turf Moor
and will be keen to end what has become a mediocre run.
Only two wins in their previous six matches is a comparatively poor return
for Tigana's men, although they remain nine points clear of Bolton.

Hayles available at Gillingham |

Barry
Hayles and John
Collins both returned to action against Burnley after spells
on the sidelines and are again likely to feature.
However, if Saha is fit, Hayles may drop to the bench - despite scoring
the opening goal in Lancashire.
Gillingham player-manager Andy Hessenthaler is looking for a positive
reaction from his troops for the clash with league leaders Fulham.
The Gills slipped to a 1-0 defeat against QPR in midweek and bouncing
back against Jean Tigana's men will not be an easy task.
Defender Roland Edge is doubtful with a knee injury sustained during the
midweek loss, but Hessenthaler is hoping the 22-year-old will be able
to overcome the problem in time to face the Cottagers.
Paul Smith and Chris Hope also sustained slight knocks during the defeat,
but both are likely to be available for selection. But Gillingham must
do without midfielder Mark Saunders who is serving a one-match suspension.
Hessenthaler said: "It's nice to have a chance to try and bounce back
against the league leaders. It will be tough as they are top of the table
and are the best side in the league without question. "They lost in midweek
and will want to bounce back but we have had a few good battles with them
over the years and there should be a good crowd and a good atmosphere."
