Fulham have failed to land Liberian hitman George Weah.
Weah wanted to sign a permanent deal with Chelsea after his
four-month loan spell at Stamford Bridge.
But Blues chief Gianluca Vialli has decided not to make the
move permanent following the signing of £15million Dutch ace Jimmy
Floyd Hasselbaink from Atletico Madrid and £4m Iceland striker
Eidur Gudjohnsen from Bolton.
Fulham Chairman Fayed was ready to match Weah's £35,000-a-week
salary but the player snubbed the offer in favour of a return
to AC Milan.
