Birmingham City's manager Trevor Francis is still waiting to
see if interest in Geoff Horsfield will be successful but Fulham
are remaining quiet.

The whispers are that the Blues are considering an offer of £2.5
million for the 26 year-old ex-brickie. But Horsfield is a big
favourite at Fulham, being nicknamed Super Geoff for his goal
scoring efforts, and a transfer may be difficult for the fans
to stomach.
However Fulham have just spent £2.1 million on Louis Saha
from Metz and Trevor Francis is keen to add Horsfield's bustling
approach to his front line.
It has also become common knowledge that Geoff's wife did not
settle in London and a transfer closer to home would be more convenient
to all concerned so Fulham may yet agree to a transfer.
Mind Francis had better be quick as Huddersfield Town are also
rumoured to be in the chase for Super Geoff Horsfield.
