Fulham v Wolves in doubt

last updated Tuesday 06th March 2001, 7:16 PM
Wolves' clash against First Division leaders Fulham at Craven Cottage, scheduled for Sunday March 25, is in some doubt.

The game is at risk as a number of players may be called up for international duty which would have an effect on the sides both Dave Jones and Jean Tigana would be able to field.

Fulham expect at least four players to be called up on international duty that weekend, and only need three call-ups to be able to call the game off.

Press Officer Lorraine Hennessy said: "We don't know whether it will be on or not at this stage.

"It's on at the moment but it is vulnerable and a decision will be made one way or the other when the international squads are announced."

However, no new date can be confirmed until 10 days before kick-off.
