The Referee,
Mr Cable of Woking has controlled 6 games in Division One this season with
another 22 in the lower divisions. He has averaged just under three cards
per match and has only given one red card this year and that was in a third
division game. He refed the Boxing day game between Wimbledon and Portsmouth
when he dished out two yellows to each team.
Wimbledon have committed 486 fouls against our 396 and have received 59
yellows and 3 reds against our 68 yellows and 2 reds. So they have been
allowed to commit 8.2 fouls per yellow in comparison to our 5.7 fouls per
yellow. At Wimbledon's fouls per yellow rate Fulham would have 21 less cards!!
The only players needing to worry about suspension at the start of next
season, apart from Rufus Brevett, are any that are sent off or in particular
Luis Boa Morte who has 14 cautions. Another card for Luis and he will serve
his three match suspension at the start of next season! |
