  • 3 wins in last 9 League and Cup games Won 1 of last 10 Premiership matches
  • Drawn 2 of last 11 in all competitions
  • 1 draw in last 7 top flight encounters
  • Lost 5 of last 8 confrontations

  • Failed to find the net in 4 of the last 8 League clashes
  • 3 clean sheets in last 12

Bottom but one of the Premiership's "Last Six Current Form table" with four points from the possible 18. West Ham are at the foot with one point.
  • Won 73 corners in Premiership matches this season - that's fewer than any other club.
  • Used 25 players in Premiership matches this season. Only Man U and Sunderland have used that many.
  • Leeds have won just once in ten Premiership games, yet 11 of their 17 points have been picked up on their travels. Victory here and they would leapfrog Fulham, but defeat would see them still just two places outside the relegation zone.
  • The Yorkshire club have conceded eight goals and scored just three in going down at home to Bolton and Charlton and away to Spurs in between. They also held Malaga to a creditable goalless draw in the away leg of their Uefa Cup Third Round tie.
  • Leeds are bottom but one of the Premiership's "Last Six Current Form table". Also a point a game is their lowest ever tally from the first 16 matches of a Premiership season. Their previous lowest at this identical stage was 20 points in 1996/97 when they went on to finish 11th. In all competitions, the Elland Road club have won four, drawn four and lost four of their 12 away games.
  • They are hunting a first top flight win over Fulham for 34 years.
  • Should Venables' men score twice they will then have racked up 200 all time Premier League away goals.

Head to Head

  • This corresponding fixture last season resulted in a goalless draw, when Robbie Fowler made a quiet Leeds debut following his £11m move from Liverpool.
  • Fulham have won three of their last five home League meetings with Leeds. The most recent was 3-1 in the old Second Division on 17 August, 1985.
  • The Yorkshire club's last victory at Fulham was 0-2 in the former Second Division on 30 March, 1985.
  • Leeds' last win in the top flight at Craven Cottage was 34 years ago, a resounding 5-0 victory in the old First Division on 6 January, 1968. That was also Leeds' biggest ever League win over the Londoners.
  • Fulham won 0-1 at Elland Road in April - their first top flight victory over United since the 5-0 success in the old First Division at Craven Cottage on 27 February, 1960.
  • That match in 1960 was obviously Fulham's biggest win in this corresponding fixture. Leeds' biggest win in a League match at Fulham was 0-5 on 6 January, 1968. Jimmy Greenhoff got three of them - the last player to bag a hat trick in this particularly match-up.
  • No player has ever been sent off in this corresponding fixture. Under fire manager Terry Venables returns to London bringing his star studded, out of form Leeds side to Loftus Road to face a Fulham outfit with three successive defeats to their name in three different competitions. Leeds have lost three in a row in the Premiership.

Matchday Referee: Paul Durkin, Portland

Paul Durkin is the grand old man of the Premiership, even though, at 45, he's not technically that old. The Dorset born ref has now turned professional, but previously listed his occupation as 'administrator'.

Durkin has been a Premier League referee since its inception back in 1992. As you'd expect from one of the veterans, Durkin has been refereeing for some time - starting his career back in 1974 and progressing to the Football League in 1987.

(Ed. In his 9 Premiership games so far this season Mr. Durkin has issued 23 yellows 57% to the away side. His last Fulham game was the Premiership clash with the Fulham Broadway crowd. Last season he reffed games with Spurs, Bolton and Aston Villa booking, Goma , Malbranque and Davis
