Fulham v Everton: Team News

last updated Friday 03rd November 2006, 3:57 PM

Club captain Luis Boa Morte is set to return to Fulham's starting line-up.

Boa Morte played 22 minutes as a substitute in last week's 1-0 home defeat by Wigan after five weeks out with a fractured cheekbone.

He will replace fellow midfielder Michael Brown, who is suffering from a badly bruised ankle.

Defender Nuno Valente is back in Everton's squad for the trip to Fulham, having returned to training after a groin injury.

But whether the Portugal international is considered for a place in the starting line-up depends on how many of David Moyes' squad are still suffering from the virus which has been rife in the camp.

Moyes is still without injured players Alessandro Pistone, Tony Hibbert, David Weir, Paddy Boyle and Gary Naysmith.

Fulham (from): Niemi, Rosenior, Knight, Pearce, Queudrue, Boa Morte, Bocanegra, Volz, Jensen, Radzinski, McBride, Boa Morte, John, Lastuvka, Helguson, Zakuani, Routledge.

Everton (from): Howard, Neville, Yobo, Stubbs, Lescott, Valente, Arteta, Davies, Carsley, Cahill, Osman, Beattie, McFadden, Johnson, Turner, Hughes, Anichebe.
