Fulham manager Chris Coleman wants his team to rediscover their resilience away from home as they prepare to face Liverpool at Anfield writes Mike Sinclair of PA Sport.
The Cottagers won only once on their travels last season and have managed just one away victory this term.
If Fulham had not beaten Arsenal, they could have been facing the grim prospect of five defeats on the bounce and manager Chris Coleman admitted: "Then we're in trouble, I'm in trouble."
As it is, they have dropped from a season's high of seventh in the Premiership to 13th and Coleman, targeting a top 10 finish, does not want them to sink any lower.
But it will not be easy at Anfield for Fulham, who were crushed 5-1 by Liverpool on their last visit there in March.
After showing character with a run of four away draws - against Tottenham, Watford, Aston Villa and Portsmouth - since gaining their sole travelling success at Newcastle, they have suffered reversals at Manchester City and Blackburn.
"In our last two away games we haven't looked resilient like we did earlier in the season and that's what we've got to get back to on the road," Coleman said.

"We've shown we can beat the best and lose to the guys at the bottom. That's us and the better we get our consistency the higher we are going to finish.
"This season we want to progress from what we did last year. We finished 12th, which is very respectable for us, but we want to better that."
One thing which needs improving to achieve that target is his side's goals against record of 23.
Matched only by Charlton, it is joint worst in the Premiership this season and former Wales defender Coleman needs to plug the gaps.
The absence of goalkeeper Antti Niemi, out for a month following knee cartilage surgery, has come at the worst possible time and an added worry came when captain Luis Boa Morte was forced off with a hamstring problem in the 2-0 defeat at Blackburn.
"That's been the story of the season, we've lost a lot of key players at important times," Coleman added.
