Fulham travel to Rochdale in League Cup

Premiership Fulham face a journey to Rochdale of
Division 3 in the second round of the Worthington Cup. Rochdale are third in Division
3 having won two games and drawn the other one and are in the second round after
winning away at Huddersfield.
Fulham of course went out at the quarter final stage of the Worthington Cup last
season after being beaten 3-0 in extra time at Anfield by Liverpool, the eventual
winners of the competition.
Twelve Premiership clubs enter the competition at this stage with Sunderland having
a difficult visit to Hillsborough to take on First Division Sheffield Wednesday,
Micky Adams' Brighton got a home draw against Southampton and two of the nicest
teams were drawn together, Gillingham at home to Millwall.
