Fulham have taken Arsenal youngster Moritz Volz on loan for the remainder of the 2003.
The Cottagers turned their attention to the German U2i right back after failing to sign Fernando Ricksen from Glasgow Rangers.
It is the second time the 20-year-old right back has crossed the capital on a temporary transfer.
Volz played 10 games with Wimbledon between January and April last season scoring once.
The German youth international will remain with Fulham until December 31.
Chris Coleman said:
'Moritz is a young quality player and I know that he will be a great addition to the squad, although he is young he shows great maturity on the pitch and can read the game well. I am sure that he will do well for us.'
Volz is one of several youngsters at Arsenal recruited from a range of European and African countries.
Joined the Gunners for nothing from Schalke 04 back in his homeland in the summer of 1999. Was given a squad number for the club's European bids in 1999/2000, although he did not play.
Made his debut in English football as a 17-year-old at home to Ipswich in the League Cup in November 2000.
