Fulham forward Moussa Dembele admits he is looking for his team to make progress in the Premier League after a difficult game on Saturday.

The London side travelled to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday to face league leaders Manchester City but returned on the wrong side of a 3-0 defeat.

Martin Jol's side have won only three games in their last 10 outings which has left them 14th in the league standings.

But despite having to battle hard on a snow-covered pitch last weekend Belgium international Dembele insists there is only one way he is looking with clashes against Stoke and Queens Park Rangers on the horizon.

"It was not easy in the snow on Saturday," he said. "When you're playing against a team as good as Manchester City it's not ideal to play in these conditions and it was very hard.

"The plane was cancelled on the way back so we drove for about six hours and got back about three o'clock in the morning. The day after was a rest day so I slept, a lot."

"We now have games against Stoke and QPR that we can win. Whilst they'll be difficult matches we can win these games, I'm certainly looking up the table rather than down."

With Stoke travelling to Craven Cottage on Saturday Dembele is keeping his eyes firmly fixed on three points and believes his side are in much better spirits at home.

"At home it's different for us and I think we're much more comfortable and our confidence is much higher," he added.

"Stoke play differently away from home so it will be a different game from playing them at the Britannia. I have a lot of confidence going into Saturday's game."
