Fulham have sealed the Japan International Junichi Inamoto deal according to the Asian news agency Kyodo.
The 22-year-old playmaker was released by Premiership champions Arsenal, despite having an excellent World Cup this summer, and is now ready to join their London rivals.
Serie A clubs Atalanta and Perugia had expressed an interest in Inamoto but after discussion between J-League club Gamba Osaka and Fulham he opted to remain in England.
Kydo said that Gamba Osaka would receive £3million from the deal, but a spokesman for the club declined to confirm the report.
