The Worthington Cup 2002 1st round fixtures may
appear a bit strange to Fulham fans as their beloved Black and Whites
are absent from the fixture list for the first time.

But, of course, there is nothing to worry about because as a Premiership team
Fulham don't have to play in the First Round.

Fixtures of some interest are the one's that see newly promoted Brighton meeting
Wimbledon and Leyton Orient meeting Crystal Palace.

League new-boys Rushden & Diamonds will travel to Burnley's Turf Moor in
their first ever Worthington Cup tie with a certain Italian also making an early
  debut against Plymouth.
