Southend United have strengthened their squad with the loan signing of young Fulham midfielder Robert Milsom.

The Blues have agreed a deal which keeps Milsom at the club until the end of December and he goes into the squad for Saturday's match with Oldham.

The 21-year-old has made one appearance for Fulham this season in the 1-0 Carling Cup defeat to Burnley.

Southend have sought a left-sided player since the departure of Hal Robson-Kanu back to Reading.
