Etuhu: Bring on the competition
ROY Hodgson wants to bolster his Fulham squad with two more signings before Tuesday's transfer deadline - but the competition doesn't bother Dickson Etuhu one bit.
The Whites boss has already brought four players to Craven Cottage, with Stephen Kelly, Kagiso Dikgucoi, Damien Duff, Bjorn-Helge Riise and Jonathan Greening making the switch to SW6.
And former Man City, Preston, Norwich and Sunderland midfielder Etuhu reckons the influx of new signings will bring out the best in him.
He said: "If the gaffer wants to bring players in that's good for all of us. To get players in and fight for that shirt makes you a better player. We can all wish we get a bigger, stronger squad, but we have to go out there and do our best.
"Personally, I believe it's always good to have competition. You have to raise your game and show you deserve that shirt on a Saturday."
