Fulham have made a bid for Birmingham striker Cameron Jerome according to Sky Sports sources.
The forward has been linked with a move away from St Andrews since the club's relegation from the Premier League on the final day of last season.
Stoke were interested in Jerome and held talks with the 24-year-old with a view to a move to the Britannia Stadium.
But Premier League rivals Fulham have now also entered the race for the former Cardiff man and have made an offer.
It remains to be seen how Birmingham will respond, but manager Chris Hughton may have to sell in order to buy.
