Reading striker Kevin Doyle is also being chased by Fulham, Sunderland and Bolton.
The Royals striker has already been in talks with Premier League new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers concerning a £6.5million switch to Molineux.
But I understand the Republic of Ireland international has at least four clubs all willing to pay that sum for his services.
Reading have already resigned themselves to losing their star striker, so Doyle must now decide who he would rather join.
Everton or Aston Villa would be his favoured choice, but Fulham are also strong contenders.
