There are newspaper reports today that Wayne Bridges, currently playing his football at Fulham Broadway, could be involved in a loan move to Fulham.

Bridge was a £7m buy from Southampton in 2003 and has been a regular England International.

Unfortunately he has not been able to gain regular first team football with Coach Mourinho prefering Del Horno at left back.

For Bridge to have any hope of making England's World Cup squad for next summer he has to get regular first team football.

Recently England coach Sven Goran Eriksson warned Wayne Bridge that his spot in the England squad is in danger due to his lack of playing time at Chelsea.

"I played Wayne against Argentina but if it had been a qualification game or a World Cup match I could not have picked him," said Eriksson.

"If he is not going to play for Chelsea, how will he be match fit for the World Cup? And he is a player we need.

"I do have concerns and it will be difficult to be sure about all the players in that situation until March or April."
