STEVEN Davis is set to complete a switch to Fulham as Martin O'Neill continues to clear the decks in preparation for a massive move into the transfer market.

According to sources close to the player, Davis will join Aaron Hughes imminently at Craven Cottage with the Northern Ireland skipper yesterday completing his £1million move.

Villa boss O'Neill is believed to have spent yesterday in London putting the finishing touches to Nigel Reo-Coker's move from West Ham.

But it is Davis' move which will split Villa fans right down the middle, such was the impact he made in his first full season as a professional being named Player of the Year in 2005-06.
