Fulham's bizarre build-up to their 3-0 thumping of Wimbledon at Selhurst Park proves the First Division leaders are ready for anything.

Manager Jean Tigana ordered his players off the bus when they were stuck in a traffic jam with less than an hour before the game - but that did not stop his classy troops firing three past hapless Wimbledon.

Midfielder Lee Clark revealed: "We did our warm-up on the road alongside the bus.

"We were struggling to get here and we all got off the bus to run for the last mile or so. We won, but I hope we don't have to do that every week."
