Fulham Manager Jean Tigana has made an inquiry for Ipswich's Marcus Bent. Tigana is desperate to improve his team's goal scoring performance in the second half of the season.
Tigana has valued Bent at £1.5million but Ipswich want almost double that. The Fulham boss has been linked to the England under-21 striker on previous occassions but a deal has been out of reach so far.
Bent has scored 4 times this season in 11 starts and 7 substitute appearences which places him 5th in the Ipswich scoring chart and available at the right price.
Ipswich Town have recently announced that they will be making further cuts as they continue to adjust to life outside the Premiership.
The club will make a 15 per cent cut in non-playing staff levels as they continue to make cutbacks at Portman Road
