Fulham are in secret talks to sign Dutch striker Pierre van Hooijdonk.
The Feyenoord star, 33, has alreadymade a hush-hush visit to west London to discuss a move.
A Fulham insider said: "We have spoken and will know an answer by the weekend."
His Rotterdam club could be prepared to let the former Nottingham Forest bad boy leave for around £600,000. His personal terms are said to be around £25,000 a week.
