last updated Sunday 08th December 2002, 3:00 PM
F.A. Cup TrophyFulham have been drawn at home against Birmingham City in the 3rd round of the F.A. Cup.

The draw also pitted 10 other Premiership clubs against each other Man City against Liverpool, Chelsea will face Middlesbrough, Bolton take on Sunderland, Aston Villa tackle Blackburn and Southampton meet Tottenham.

The Cottagers and The Blues last met in the F.A.Cup in 1975 when they clashed in the semifinal. They drew the first game 1-1 at Hillsborough and then Fulham won the replay 1-0 at Maine Road with a goal by John Mitchell in the 119th minute of extra time.

That win was also the last and only time a Fulham squad has beaten Birmingham in a F.A. Cup "home" fixture. Of their 6 meetings in the cup Fulham have lost 3, drawn 2 and won 1.

Ties to be played on the weekend of January 4 and 5 2003.
