last updated Monday 08th December 2003, 9:40 AM
The 2004 FA Cup Third Round draw took place on Sunday afternoon at the FA's Soho Square headquarters. Peter Shilton and Fulham legend George Cohen presided over the draw.

The draw hand Fulham a home game against struggling Third Division side Cheltenham Town. The Cottagers and Robins have never met before and Cheltenham have never played a top flight club in all of their 111 year history. Last season The Robins were beaten 4-0 in the 3rd round away at Sheff Utd after winning away at Yeovil and Oldham. Fulham were beaten 3-0 away at Burnley in a high octane 5th round replay 3-0 after beating Charlton and Birmingham in previous rounds. Their were a number of all Premiership ties Aston villa at home to Man , Birmingham at home to Blackburn, Arsenal away at Leeds, Man City at home to Leicester and Southampton at home to Newcastle.

Telford United's reward for reaching round three is a trip to Gresty Road to face Crewe Alexandra. Accrington Stanley will be at home to Colchester United if they see off Bournemouth in a replay.

Ties will be played on 3 and 4 January 2004 .
