Ouaddou was with the Morocco squad in Segou preparing for Monday's Group
B clash with Ghana when the alleged incident occurred.
Reports from some Moroccan journalists to the BBC suggest the 23-year-old
traded punches with team-mate Abdeljilil Hadda during a row over the standard
of facilities at the specially constructed complex.
The central defender, who has been described as the Moroccan Rio Ferdinand,
was sent home by coach Humberto Coelho following the fracas.
The former Nancy player, who had been expected to play a key role in the
Morocco defence, becomes the second player to be sent home from this year's
tournament after Ibrahim Said left the Egypt squad last week for a breach
of discipline
