Promising teenage Fulham defender Matthew Briggs has moved to Leyton Orient on a month's loan.
The England under-19 and under-20 international will remain with the League One outfit until 13th February.
Orient boss Geraint Williams says the 18-year-old has impressed the club in his appearances for Fulham's reserves and will add competition to his defensive options.
Williams told the club's official website: "We go out to watch Premier Reserve League games on a regular basis and Matthew has always impressed us.
"He's a left sided defender who is comfortable on the ball and we feel that with his mobility he will add to our defensive options, giving competition for the defenders already at the club."
The teenager made history when he became the youngest player to make a Premier League appearance, debuting at the age of 16 years and 65 days at Middlesbrough on the final day of the 2006/7 season.
He has since continued his development in Fulham's Academy and reserve teams.
