Roy Hodgson |

Fulham boss Roy Hodgson admits that his side have their work cut out if they are going
to turn around their season.
The Cottagers were held 2-2 by League One side Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup third
round in Hodgson's second game in charge and have not won in 10 games.
"We know we have got a lot of work to do and the players accept that," said former
Finland boss Hodgson.
"There were some good aspects of our play but we didn't win so I can't stand here
and say I'm satisfied."
Fulham's last win came against Reading at the beginning of November, but in two
games the 60-year-old Hodgson has seen enough to give him encouragement.
"I think we've put up a good performance in terms of our attitude, work rate and
desire to play," he said.
"But unfortunately we've been punished by our inability to defend from set plays
against physically stronger teams."

Paul Trollope |

Rovers boss Paul Trollope said he was delighted to earn a replay against Premier
League opposition but admitted he was slightly disappointed with the end result
after leading twice.
"We would've taken a replay before the game," he said.
"But to be in the lead twice, there is a tinge of disappointment in the dressing
room.
"We produced some good forward play but we had to defend very well at times as well
because Fulham put us under a lot of pressure.
"There was a good mentality about the players; we were strong, we were bold and
I think we deserved a replay."
Trollope also reserved praise for the travelling army of over 7,000 Rovers fans
who made the trip to Craven Cottage.
"Obviously the start we made was fantastic and gave them something to shout about,"
he said.
"But when it went to 1-1 the noise they made was still great, they really got behind
the lads and I'm glad for them, they've gone home happy tonight."
