- Middlesbrough are looking to stay clear of trouble by notching their 150th Premier League victory
- 'Boro have a five point cushion between themselves and the relegation zone, after holding Newcastle to a 1-1 draw at St James' last Sunday. Gareth Southgate's side have won twice as many league matches as Fulham (six to three), but have conceded almost as many goals (11 to 12).
- Undefeated in six; won three and drawn three in league and cup since losing 0-2, home to Everton on 1 January - their only loss in eight.
- Scored one goal in each of the last four league games, and only managed more than one in one of the last 18 top-flight outings.
- Completed 20 league games since a win by more than a single goal; 2-0, against Birmingham on 1 September at the Riverside.
- Scored 22 league goals this season at one every 102 minutes (one hour 42 minutes) on average. Only Derby have an inferior record, with just 13 Premier League goals scored.
- The second lowest second-half scorers in the top division, with nine goals from 25 games.
- Been shown more yellow cards than any other club in Premier League competition so far this season (54).
- Only beaten Birmingham, Arsenal and Wigan in home league games.
- Holding the second weakest home record in the Premier League with 13 points from a possible 36 (three wins, four draws). Only Derby have fared less well; six points from 12 games.
- After this it's away to Sheffield United in the fifth round of the FA Cup, then away to Liverpool and home to Reading in the Premier League.
- 'Boro are defending an unbeaten home Premier League record against Fulham of four wins and two draws. They've not lost on home soil to the Cottagers since a 0-2 reverse at second League level on 24 March 1984.
- Middlesbrough won the reverse fixture 1-2 in August in what was Gareth Southgate's 50th match in charge. Now the Teessiders are looking to complete a first Premier League double over the Cottagers.

- Having gained his first Premier League victory as Fulham boss against Aston Villa last Sunday, Roy Hodgson must now turn his attention to the Cottagers' appalling away record, if they are to complete their first back to back league wins since September 2006.
- Fulham are chasing their first top-flight victory on Teesside since a 1-2 triumph on 7 September 1949.
- Fulham are hoping to claw their way out of the drop zone by claiming their 75th Premier League maximum.
- The 2-1 home win over Aston Villa on Sunday was their first in 15 league and cup games.
