Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy looks certain to miss the club's next two games - against Fulham on Sunday and the UEFA Cup second leg with Hamburg on Thursday.
Bellamy suffered a recurrence of a knee injury in the 3-1 defeat by the Bundesliga side on Thursday night in the quarter-final first leg and is due to have a scan.
Benjani Mwaruwari also looks likely to be sidelined for a spell as he ruptured his thigh muscle.
Shaun Wright-Phillips (ankle) and Vincent Kompany (hamstring) are doubtful through injury but Nigel de Jong is available again after being ineligible for the Cup tie.
