Fulham have
made an enquiry for Vitesse Arnhem's Dutch international
striker Victor Sikora, but seem unlikely to beat Ajax to
the player's signature.
Jean Tigana is always on the lookout for players to
bolster his squad and Sikora is just the latest to come
to the Frenchman's attention.

Sikora is available to leave debt-ridden Vitesse, but
they are still demanding a reasonable price for their
prized asset.
Dutch champions Ajax have been courting the player
for some time and manager Ronald Koeman is determined to
add him to his squad before the start of the new
Eredivisie season.
"The player is very much wanted by Ajax and they want
him to be there for pre-season training, but they are
yet to pay the price we want and so he is still not
their player," Vitesse's technical director Jan Streur
stated.
"Obviously this does give the opportunity to other
clubs, although I cannot specifically talk about Fulham.
"We know there is other interest in Victor, as he is
a very good player. He would suit the English game as he
very quick and strong and would have no problems over
there.
"But as I said I cannot confirm anything about
Fulham. We are still talking with Ajax and their manager
Ronald Koeman only spoke to me this week about him, but
still nothing has been agreed."
Sikora, who operates either wide right or behind a
main striker, has been with Vitesse for three seasons
and, after a number of dazzling displays, is one of the
most wanted players in Holland.
Although there is other clubs interested including
Fulham, Ajax remain in pole-position to land him.
