Fulham are disappointed

last updated Saturday 28th October 2000, 8:43 PM
Cottagers assistant coach John Collins admits his team-mates are hurting after a week which has seen them knocked off the top of the table.

He said: "We are disappointed not to have won this game, especially after twice taking the lead and being up against 10 men.

"But the most disappointing aspect is that we have conceded all three goals from set-pieces, which is not like us, and we have paid the price.

"But when you are up at the top of the table you are the team to beat, and other sides are not going to let you pass the ball about and have an easy afternoon.

"We've got to try and get back to the way we were playing when we were winning matches.

"It's hurting us now because even a draw feels like a defeat. It's good the players are hurting, but the most important thing is the way they react."
