Jim Magilton has revealed that Town have had an offer for Moritz Volz accepted by Fulham.

The 25-year-old defender started his career at Schalke before joining Arsenal in 2000. He made two appearances for the Gunners, then joined Fulham four years later following loan spells at Wimbledon and at Craven Cottage.

Capped by Germany at U21 level, Volz has made 125 appearances for Fulham in the Premier League but drifted out of the first-team picture last season, playing only nine games for them in the top flight.

"We have made an offer to Fulham for Moritz Volz and it's been accepted," confirmed Jim after watching his side win 3-0 at Burnley.
