The mystery Object discovered near Fulham's ground has been cleared after fears that it might be a German World War II bomb.

Hammersmith and Fulham Council hotline 020 8753 3100 has declared that the Object is not a bomb and that there will be no road closures or alterations to public transport services.

The Object was uncovered last week during excavation work on a construction site around the former White City London Transport Depot in Shepherd's Bush.

Army bomb disposal experts had been called in to investigate if the Object was an unexploded Second World War bomb.
