Fulham assistant boss Christian Damiano saluted his team, saying: "We were in a difficult position with our strikers, but Malbranque was good and Boa Morte played a great game.
"We played with Malbranque a bit deeper and he played the ball into gaps for Boa Morte.
"We had great spirit and great capacity to build attacks and take the initiative.
"It was a great win with fantastic attitude and great quality. And we were unlucky in attack as we hit the bar twice."
