Former Fulham star Barry "Bazza" Hayles suffered a serious knee injury in last Saturday's game at Crystal Palace.

33-year-old Bazza, now playing with Championship side Millwall will be out for at least six weeks and depending on a surgical examination could be out for the rest of the season.

Lions Boss Colin Lee already has six seniors players out through injury.

Lee said: 'Barry's knee is stiff and very painful. He cannot put any weight on it and there is a chance he might need an arthroscopy.

'The best thing for us would be that he would miss only four to six weeks. The worst case scenario is that he won't play again this season.

'It's a massive blow. He is a senior player and he is very important for us.'
