  • Manchester City are set to launch a sensational summer swoop for ex-Arsenal and current Barcelona striker Thierry Henry, after asking super-agent Pini Zahavi to set up a deal. (News of the World)


  • Gareth Barry has reopened the way for an £18m move to Liverpool in the summer after rejecting the chance to negotiate a new contract with Aston Villa. (Sunday Express)


  • Villa boss Martin O'Neill may soften the blow of possibly losing Barry by luring Wes Brown from Manchester United in a £3.5m deal. (The People)
