  • The Catalan club are also getting ready to submit a £35m offer for Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano, which could be made up of £20m and forward Bojan Krkic. (Daily Mail)


  • Manchester City are confident they will beat local rivals Manchester United as well as Chelsea and Liverpool to the signing of striker Carlos Tevez. (Independent)
