Fulham killed off Wycombe Wanderer's hopes
of Cup glory in the 68th minute of Tuesday's replay.
Lawrie Sanchez's men adopted ultra-defensive first-half tactics mixed with
a liberal sprinkling of GBH. After 20 minutes Louis Saha had to be subed
by Steve Marlet due to a broken nose.

Wycombe came very close to causing an embarassing upset in the first game
as it was not until the 88th minute that Steve Marlet was able to rescue
the Fulham Revolution.
We have played Wycombe four times at the Cottage, all between Aug. 1997
and Sept. 1998, and of the four games we won 2 and drew 2. This season Wycombe
have only won twice away from home and not at all in their last six away
games so their chances of a upset at the Cottage are slim to say the least.
Wycombe are currently 9th in Division Two, just 4 points below that massive
club QPR, and have scored 13 goals in their 13 away games while conceding
22.
Jean Tigana fielded a virtually full team at Adams Park and has been quoted
as being impressed with the idea of the F.A. Cup so injuries apart, Sylvain
Legwinski and Lee Clark, the only question needing an answer is who will
be in goal.
