FORMER Fulham frontman Erik Nevland plans to be a coach when he finally hangs up his boots - but only if the players in front of him are no higher than his waist.

The Norwegian striker has quit the Cottage to return to home club Viking Stavanger, and then revealed he wants to coach kids.

He said: "Senior coaching is not for me. I can see how the likes of Danny Murphy is going to be a great manager some day - he's a natural - but I think I could enjoy teaching young kids more."
