Eddie Lewis misses
out on selection for the USA team
|
|
American winger Eddie Lewis has been dropped for the U.S. World Cup qualifier
with Mexico on February 28th.
This could signal his departure from Fulham. Lewis, who has scored seven
goals in the last three reserve matches has not been selected by manager
Bruce Arena, mainly due to his lack of first-team matches at Craven Cottage.
This could see the end for the former San Jose forwards stint with the club,
as he was quoted just over a month ago saying that he could not afford to
miss first team places at Fulham, for fear of losing his US national team
position.
This has now happened.
